Little Tiger had the opportunity to kick off Pride month in the most extraordinary way, by being asked to collaborate with Central Vally Pride on their third annual Pride flag raising in the city of Merced, California. (If you’re not already supporting this awesome organization, go check them out-they are doing powerful work in California’s Central Valley.) It was pure joy to close out this evening of celebration with our music, which opened with speakers from the local Native American community, followed by youth leaders, activists, and local and state leadership, as well as other musical performances. It has been a brutal year for the LGBTQIA2S+ community, particularly trans folks, but nights like this fill our cups to the brim with energy and hope for a brighter future. Happy Pride!
